Fraxel Dual is a non-ablative fractional laser with two wavelengths: 1550 nm, which reaches into the dermis to remodel collagen for texture, scars and fine lines, and 1927 nm, which works closer to the surface to lift sun damage and pigment. It treats thousands of tiny columns of skin while leaving the surface intact, so healing is quicker than with ablative lasers.

In Seoul it is chosen for rough texture, shallow acne scars, enlarged pores and photo-ageing. For deeper scars, a stronger option such as CO2 fractional laser may be advised.
