CO2 laser resurfacing uses a 10,600 nm carbon dioxide laser, which is absorbed by water in the skin and precisely vaporises thin layers of tissue. As the skin heals, it regenerates a new surface and remodels collagen beneath it, smoothing scars, wrinkles and uneven texture.

How long is the recovery?

Can I fly home after CO2 resurfacing?

Yes, but plan the treatment early in your trip so the doctor can check healing before you leave, and keep the area moist and protected while travelling.

Does it leave scars?
